I should know the answer to this question but it's Friday and my brain hurts. When soldering you create fumes that are from the soldering flux.. These fumes should be extracted or diverted. Question is at what point does the leaded alloy become a vapor? I google and came up with 2858F to vaporize lead solder. Is that accurate? Any help would be appreciated.

You need to reach the boiling point to produce vapors which is 3164.0 °F. Anyway you were very close.

I worked for a company that had an industrial nurse come in to discusss lead with us. Short version; "There is nothing in the plant that will even come close to vapourizing lead" and "don't eat it".

She said it's normal for everyone to ingest some lead and the body gets rid of it with no problem. The problem is when you ingest too much. But she assured us as long we used common sense such as washing our hands before eating, we would have no problem.
