It might help to investigate the error code provided for the rejected parts. It could help point your troubleshooting methods in the right direction. (Example, if it's failing for vision errors, you may need to make adjustments to your vision file dimensions or tolerances. If it's failing for vacuum errors, you may look towards nozzle and/or feeder issues).

I don't know Juki machines, but I assume it is using vision. On these components I have sometimes called the leads the body and the body the leads. I'll make a picture if this sounds like it will help.

If it's using the laser alignment try changing the part type to "SOT" instead of chip, and then enter the dimensions for only the body of the component. The "Chip" setting will measure the part half way down the body, the "SOT" setting will measure the dimensions at the very top of the part so you don't accidentally measure the leads as well.

The laser height can be changed to any level you want regardless of the algorithm you select.
