Fuji CP6 24V Power Supply shorted at power up? | 12 July, 2017

Hi all, Our Fuji cp6 woke up with a bad power supply (ps) this morning. The ps is one of two 24vdc (Corsel P300E-24). There is one inside the cabinet and one on the door where the cpu card is. The bad one is the one inside the cabinet. So we had another ps in a cp4 that we use for parts now. We replaced it but no one bother to check if it worked before we installed it. We powered up the cp6 and no luck. Same 24v ps still shows no voltage. BTW we check all other ps and they're fine. So, we see around 110 ohms across the terminals if we remove the 24v ps. We checked another cp6 we have and it shows about 100 ohms. We install a big old linear variable supply (set to 24v and about 10A) and started the cp6. This big old supply showed a short for about 8 seconds and then it powered up. The cp6 seems fine. Run a nozzle check and a couple of products and still fine.

Is this short of 8 secs at power up normal? I see that the P300E-24 manual shows it can handle 20 secs shorts.

Thanks in advance
