SMTnet Format

SMTnet Format | 5 November, 1999

I really like SMTnet and the forum. However, I do not like the new format of the SMTnet because when you click on a response, you can not see the original question. Also, when you click on the latest response, you can not see all of the other responses without clicking on each of them individually. For those of us that are using a modem line to access the web it is very slow and time consuming to look at the original question and each of the individual responses. Could this be changed back to the old way?

Thanks, Todd

Yes, that is one of the transitions we are in right now. The older messages would be conflicting with this style because each message contains the previous messages in it. What we are getting to is to see all messages on the single page. Old threads would have duplicated information in it, so we are working around that. I will post a message in the admin corner when it becomes available, hopefully in the next month or so.

Thanks, Cliff

That's great, I look forward to it. I'm not on a phone line and miss seeing all of the messages together. Thanks

Hi folks;

I had this funny idea that SMTnet can provide some new feature's like a freehand drawing utilities that way we can draw some technical illustration drawing in our text message area or cut and paste from our windows clipboards to our existing text message.Both engineering drwg and technical can be included with our message.

Please discard this idea if it is not good.

Thank you in advance.

This sounds like a great idea. It may take sometime to find a cost effective solution but I think they should definitely start looking for one. Cunli
