Hello there,

My 'MyChronic MyData My500 Solder Jet printer' keeps having the same issue and I am unable to solve the issue.

Suction flow too low: Check filter box and suction holes are clear.

This problem would usually be solved by a new filter box or replacing a blocked ejector for the cassette. However the cassette, ejector and filter box is brand new.

The PCB's will print but it will miss certain pads and/or only place a insufficient amount of solder in particular pad positions, while other pad positions being applied with a perfect amount of solder.

We have only 22v going to the air supply unit which is 24v usually, but I am unaware which unit it is in the machine and unconvinced if it would be the issue.

If anyone has any suggestions to solve this issue it would be greatly appreciated!

Hey Kathy,

Thank you for the link for the tech support will keep that in mind for the future!

After a long series of testing different solutions we found that re-sending the Gerber data over to the 'My500' seems to have resolved the issue, we are now achieving a satisfactory amount of solder paste applied to the PCB pads.
