Hello,
I have a Topaz-X that is losing its R origin as it runs. The issue can be seen in the following test:
Set the machine to ignore vacuum/ignore alignment and have no feeders in the machine also set the nozzles all to fixed. I run a servo origin and start the program. After about 5 minutes I stop the machine and open the soft limits menu. When I set the R axis to the initial position all of the heads are misaligned. Then I manually move the heads to the appropriate initial position (So the R axis alignment tool would fit) and the R axis reads -39 degrees. If I do a servo origin it will go back to normal and I can redo all of the above and recreate this issue.
So far I have:
Replaced the R Axis motor 3 times (used parts)
Fixed a broken shield wire pin at the R axis motor inner-connect
Refreshed all connections on the IO board/bulk head connector/and a few other locations along the cable
Refreshed the connections on the Servo Driver board/Encoder board
Realign FNC sensors like 8 times (before I realized R origin was messed up)
I plan on doing:
Replace Encoder board / Servo Driver Board
Replace R axis cable
Replace R axis motor from a working machine
Other than that I am stumped, can anyone else think of some potential issues/solutions?
