Sn99Cu07 and Sn100 | 18 October, 2022

Dear proffessionals! Question is about this alloys - Sn99Cu07 and Sn100 (Sn100C,Sn100Ni+ etc.). Is it O'k to mix them? In my case to use Sn99Cu07 as addition to selective soldering machine bath with Sn100C? Main components are the same, but minor additives are different... Also may be somebody can compare this alloys - which one is better, or the are almost the same in production? Thanks!

This problem appears whenever I turn on my UP2000 HiE printer and try to perform the initial Reset.

All sensors on the Input/Output Screen are functioning appropriately and will give expected results when checked individually. There is no new data in the logs. Can we upgrade to more in-depth logs?

In general, it is safer to use a single alloy with a known composition and performance characteristics. If you need to change the alloy used in your selective soldering machine bath, it is advisable to consult with the manufacturer or a soldering expert. They can help you identify an appropriate replacement alloy that meets your specific requirements without the risks associated with mixing different solder alloys.

Regarding a comparison of Sn99Cu07 and Sn100 (Sn100C, Sn100Ni+), these alloys are both lead-free and widely used in electronics manufacturing. The choice between them depends on your specific application requirements.
