In case you cant get a copy here is how you can solve your problem.
Copy the directory the program resides in to the new HD, exactly the same as it was on the old HD. So C:Program filesProgramex. etc. Next go into the registry. So Startmenu->Run type regedit hit return Next Search for the program ProgramEx etc. This will find all the references to your program, Recreate these references on your new HD.
So you find Say Key HKEY_USERSS-1-5-21-3984164810-525138215-3110626622-1000SoftwareRegisteredApplications copy this to notepad. Also copy the key value, so Modify Up pops the Edit string box. Copy the value and the Value data to notepad.
This works well for software that doesn't have complex anti coping software, dongles etc.
An easier way is a straight HD Clone technique. I find a mix of HD Clone tools work best so Partition Magic, Minitool Partition wizard. Difficulties can arise with copying smaller older drives due tools only working with late model software. interfaces on your computer not existing etc.
Anyway good luck in your endeavours. I meant this post to be a more general solution to those people charged with the difficulty of maintaining old hardware for SMT manufacture.
