When the pick&place is at speeds above 80%, the X driver displays error 21, at lower speeds (<80%) it works without problems, I have already changed the encoder cable and the driver but to no avail. When placed in WarmUp, the pick&place works for exactly 2:30 minutes, which is when it accelerates to 90% speed

I think error 21 at the drive is encoder communication issues, but google may tell you more. It's probably going to be one of three things, either the encoder, the cable, or the drive. I don't recall, but is the encoder integrated on the motor? If you haven't changed that I'd probably try it. If you are on a budget and handy you could o-scope this somehow and get an idea which side this is on. Another diagnostic is to swap drives, although that's a bit more difficult as I think you have to program these drives, probably per axis.

As I have two identical machines, it was easy, it really is the encoder, and as it is integrated into the motor it will be necessary to change the entire unit, or try to repair the encoder.
