Any recomendations on any GOOD career WEB sites? | 19 May, 1999

Hello everbody!

I was wondering if any of you have any GOOD recomendations of WEB sites to post one's resume? I've sent my resume here of course, but am looking for others as well...

I've already been to www.monster.com, www.assemblyNet.com, and the recruiters that advertise in SMT magazine...are there any others?

Time for a change I'm afraid...

Thanks!

I too go thru this ritual on a regular basis. Of course, it's my nature not to land very hard and leave a big impression. I know from where YOU are coming.

Anyway, I will be leaving a small hole here in the beautiful NW for "greener" pastures in the NE in about three weeks. I would suggest you contact Volt Technical Services and Jeff Miller in Spokane, but before you do email me a private address so I can fill you in. Don't do this unless you are interested in PRETTY GOOD dough, a target rich environment, and all the tools/toys you can imagine to do what you do so well.

Aside from that, try the Mining Company (miningco.com) and its many facets. Also, I will give you my favorite hunting ground over a secured email. Don't want to invite to much competition. Hell, the two of us and about a dozen other fine folks on this forum ought to be able to handle all kinds of trouble - or create some more.

Interested in the south west? Send me a note at raton.smtnet.com if interested. I'd rather not put a lot more here. Happy Hunting! | | Time for a change I'm afraid... | | Thanks! | | -Steve Gregory- |

Know that feeling. I've got one week left here at Siemens. Must be spring fever or something - everybody's in a moving mood. In my case, I wasn't in a moving mood (geographic-wise anyway).

A good website is Headhunter.net.

I know of a cool place that's intrested in hiring cool SMT warriors. No featherweights here, so I believe you qualify. I'll be there in a month, myself. It's in Jersey. Drop me a line if you're interested, and I'll give you the appropriate info.

Re: Any recomendations on any GOOD career WEB sites? | 24 May, 1999

Steve and all,

I am glad to see this discussion about job search on the web. The SMTnet Career Center is currently being redesigned so that individuals, employers, and recruiters can all post directly to it. Right now is a good time to let us know what features you would like to see added, such as how to keep individual's anonymity while allowing employers know he/she is there.

Please feel free to post your feedback in the Admin Corner or email me directly.

Thanks,

Cunli

If you truly want a GOOD Career I believe you must get out electronics manufacturing and find something that is more fulfulling. Try something that allows for family time.
