I recently heard (but cant remember the source) that radio receiving antennas much smaller than the quarter wavelength or so necessary to obtain sufficient signal strength were being developed. I think the process may be based on digitally correlating multiple signals obtained from a set of mini oscillators, perhaps similar to the way phased array antennas work. I am working on a 1/10 scale RC car that is unsuitable for using a regular external antenna, and would like to investigate placing an antenna in or under the skin. I would like to find out if anyone is working to commercialize such an antenna system. Any suggestions? Please contact me. Thanks, Roger
