A different kind of question

Sirs,

I have a different kind of question that I think this board is used to. I'm writing from an investor's perspective as I'm thinking about making an investment in SMTC, a public EMS company with about $300 million in annual revenue.

What seems to be the general opinion of this company? Do they do quality work? I realize they have fallen on hard times but it appears they are on the verge of a very large restructuring that could make the company attractive. If anyone knows anything about the company, especially its future position, I'd appreciate the insight.
