I am the new user for siplace HS50 for about 3 months, running 24 hours production.

I used to perform PM every 2 weeks. I have just changed all the plungers(Alu) and nozzles(904) and some nozzle sleeves due to components high throw-out.

The estimated annual maintenance cost for just to replace the above items is about US$30K which is very high compare to other brand machine maintenance cost.

Please share your experience with me, how frequence to perform PM and changed the plunger, nozzle and sleeve.

Some key data is needed 1) how often does the HS 50 machines run? 24/7? 2)How many placements are being performed?

I know for a fact Siemens Siplace S/F platforms require weekly preventative maintenance. Knowing the sophistication of the HS platforms I would expect weekly on this unit as well. Keeping plungers and sleeves lubricated is key. I suggest you bump up to a 1 -1.5 hour weekly maintenance.

Siemens Nozzles are made to be replaced often. Every operator shift change over the nozzles need to be checked.

What level of maintenance does the operators have?
