Hello,

We recently acquired a used Viscom S6056 DS1W machine which is currently not operational. The initialization fails and we are encountering a repeated error: "D0, Vtrans command invalid." This error is also appearing with codes D4, D5, and D6.

I have tested the Vtrans using the DigiIO app, which successfully reads all sensor data across various zones. However, it cannot activate any motors, clamps, etc. Could anyone provide guidance or troubleshooting tips for this issue?

Additionally, we do not have a manual for this machine. If anyone could share a copy, it would be immensely appreciated.

D0 = left shuttle D4 = front Track D5 = rear Track D6 = right shuttle

the whole transport system doesnt initialize. Can you check the fiber optic cables?

Hello,

The fiber optics cable appears to be functioning correctly; transmission is evident through the blinking LEDs, and the computer can read the status of all transport sensors. it seems the fuse F1 is defect. see the tutorial in attachement. can you check fuse F1?

Fuse was ok but the resistor which feed optocoupler was burned out. After replacing resistor everything is working fine. Now I've got error: "Infeed disbaled" - but this is configuration error ? BTW I have one more question - can I use this machine and feed PCB by hand without trnsport ?

may i ask what ist the version of the SI Software? what is the transport direction? left right ? right left? can u upload si_trans.conf file?

Si ver: 7.44(9910) Please find link to si_trans_file: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ylvj2YydjdThmSJ40p9Jd3x_UQhV51s9/view?usp=sharing There was a problem with one of the connector and also I've changed FEED_TYPE parameter to 3 in si_trans_file and it seems like error goes away. Also Im looking for english manual in .vis file (on machine is only in DE) to have a starting point. Thank you for your help.

you can try set the following parameter to 0

FLG_SHOW_DIS_INFEED 1 Display message when infeed locked in attachement you see another si_trans.conf file from a S6056.

if its a used machine nobody exactly knows what was the environment and use case for the machine.

you can compare settings, and try and error configuration, but dont forget to take a backup from your config file.

I have one more question regarding the VVP software. Currently, my machine is running version 7.44, and I'm interested in updating it to the higher version. So, my question is: Do you have a newer firmware available? If so, could you please send it to me?
