We have identified the problem with the network. The network we are hooked into, is currently shared with other web servers, and one of those servers had a renegade MP3 site which drained the network's resources. That server was shut down, and processes should continue as normal.
SMTnet is also in the process of upgrading to a faster web server in response to the increased traffic.
