Overview

Electronic assemblies are often used under critical conditions, which increases the risk of malfunction and failure. Due to these increased requirements, existing quality tests for coated assemblies have been continuously improved. New tests were developed especially for the control of coatings. In addition to quality control in the production and supply chain, the quality tests offer the possibility of safely preparing assemblies for the reliability tests, so that passing these tests is ensured in the best possible way.

 About the Presenter

Freddy Gilbert studied Material Sciences and Engineering at the Graduate School of Engineering of the University of Montpellier and the Technical University of Berlin. In his position as Technology Analyst in the ZESTRON Reliability & Surfaces team, he organizes and conducts Technology Coachings focused on failure analysis, surface analysis as well as risk assessment.
