Why Attend?

The training is designed to give new managers and established leaders skills they can apply immediately within their current environment.  Professionals who attend this program will gain confidence in leadership, communication, team building and performance evaluation.

Course Objectives - following the Maxwell Leadership training program:

  • Self-Leadership – leaders can’t give what they don’t have.  The first part of the program centers on the most difficult leadership component: self-leadership.  In this phase, participants will discover:
    • Their communication style
    • How their team receives their communication
    • Communication dos and don’ts
    • Their workplace values
    • Their approach to conflict resolution
    • The importance of their attitude and mindset 
  • Team Leadership – there’s a lot you’re expected to know once you’ve become the leader.  Here participants focus on how to manage and lead their teams.  In this phase, participants will discover:
    • How to lead effective 1-on-1 and team meetings
    • What to ask in a performance review
    • What to ask new team members
    • How to engage with and appreciate your team
    • How to hold your team accountable on their performance objectives
    • How to help team members set goals
  • Organizational Leadership – as the new leader grows their skills, they’ll have greater influence with their leaders and throughout the organization.   In this phase, participants will discover:
    • The 5 Levels of Leadership
    • Strategies to level up their leadership
    • How to lead their boss

About the Instructor

Brian Stroh is a Maxwell Certified Leadership Team speaker, coach and trainer, and a DISC personality consultant. He provides customized leadership development that's fun and relevant so organizations can grow their teams and attract new people. Brian lives in Sioux Falls, SD with his wife Tarina and their four children. 

Other details:

  • Online Cohort of 10-15 participants
  • 8 one-hour online sessions with optional opportunity for a DISC assessment and 30 minute individual review.
    • Sessions are scheduled for 8 consecutive Thursdays at 11am central:
      August 8, August 15, August 22, August 29, September 5, September 12, September 19, and September 26
  • $199 members / $299 non-members per participant and additional $50 for DISC assessment
