National Sales Manager
Position Description:
Responsible for planning, developing, positioning and capturing business opportunities as directed by management. Develops effective objectives and strategies.
Identifies, develops and manages key account relationships, including solicitation, contract negotiations, account administration, and overall sales execution.
Leads, motivates, and supports both direct sales force and independent sales representative network. Determines organizational marketing objectives, interprets policy and delegates assignments to subordinate managers.
Prepares strategic marketing plan for products and services in accordance with short, intermediate and long-term objectives. Provides planning for marketing operations and implements approved plans.
Provides customer feedback to management and advises on industry trends, market studies and economic conditions related to development of product, services, and research.
Develops commission and compensation structures and designs sales channel and territory layout.
Creates budgets, forecasts and management reports as required.
Assures that activities within defined scope are accomplished in accordance with policies, sound business practices and comply with applicable requirements and regulations.
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science degree. Advanced degree preferred.
10 years experience.
A network of contacts throughout the electronics assembly industry
Proven ability to manage and direct overall sales and marketing efforts.
Demonstrated ability to achieve individual sales objectives as well as managerial level leadership.
An understanding of business to business marketing competencies.
