Manufacturing Supervisor (Surface Mount)

Supervise and provide process engineering support for the surface mount manufacturing of printed circuit board assemblies. Basic skills and knowledge requirements: Must have a minimum of a Bachelor�s Degree in Engineering or formal educational equivalent AND 10 years experience in Surface Mount Manufacturing. - Detailed knowledge in surface mount programming; placement equipment operation (Sanyo & Universal preferred); stencil printing; paste dispensing; reflow; cleaning & rework methods. - Excellent communication skills. - Demonstrated effective leadership ability. Technical duties will include: - working with customers to develop most effective means of producing their products and optimizing product design; - recommending and implementing changes to surface mount production processes to increase productivity and improve quality; - provide ongoing training and technical support to surface mount operator team; - generate appropriate process documentation; and - set up, evaluate, validate and balance production lines.
