Job Description: |
-
Ensure manufacturing have calibration and preventive maintenance processes in place to ensure the integrity of test equipment used on our products.
-
Lead and responsible for all aspects of the RMA/GRS processes from initial analysis, board debug to completing report for customer.
-
Create and train debug technicians on PCBA debug procedures or instructions.
-
Interface directly with internal and external customers to resolve production test and RMA/GRS debug issues.
-
Interface with customers or ICT test program or fixture issues.
-
Lead the debug team in supporting Production to reduce production bone piles in a timely manner
-
Review and plan the purchase, installation and sustaining of the manufacturing
-
Conduct and support failure analysis activities for production test fallout and RMA/GRS
-
Prioritize and monitor the work for FA debug and rework technicians
-
Design and develop production board functional test hardware/software and test process
-
Act as a technical liaison between debug technicians and internal/external customers
-
Constantly monitor and improve manufacturing test processes and systems
-
Constantly review and improve the efficiency of GRS/RMA debug methods and processes
-
Work closely with test, design engineers, component suppliers, customers, and quality engineers to complete the reports for production test, RMA debug summary, etc.

Compare and analyze the trends in customer returns and internal test data to prevent manufacturing test issues

Participate in Continuous Improvement Activities
Experience and Skill Requirement:
-
A minimum of 5 years of manufacturing test engineering experience in EMS industry.
-
Familiar with SATA, SAD, PCI-E, CF/SD card interfaces.
-
Expertise in the use of oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, DVMs.
-
Hands on experience with logic analyzers, bus analyzers, waveform generators, multimeters, and digital scopes.

Experience with ICT and manufacturing functional test development and set up.

Expertise in OS/Unix, Linux and Windows environment.

*Minimum of a BS in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related discipline.
