SMT Manufacturing Engineer/Technician

Job Description: � Responsible for the operation and process design of a SMT manufacturing line � Utilizes experience and engineering concepts to maximize quality and productivity � Documents processes and implements process controls for high reliability yields � Keeps the company�s manufacturing capabilities competitive and competent as the market mix is expanded. � Works with engineering processes in developing new products � Make assessments and aid the design process for optimal manufacturability � Assists engineering with prototyping and test stand development Qualifications: � Strong attention to detail � Five years of SMT process experience � Quality conscientious and familiarity with ISO, IPC, and Mil standards a plus � Good communication skills, written and oral � Must be well motivated and able to work independently � Experience with MyData pick and place a plus � Willing to work with and train technicians in the operational aspects of various pieces of equipment. � Hand soldering skills a plus Forward resume and salary requirement to robertvisger@summitinstruments.com
