Associate Mechanical Engineer The main role of the Associate Mechanical Engineer will be to design, develop, and build apparatuses and fixtures, which purpose will be to test and control our clients' manufacturing output. Each of these apparatuses and fixtures is customized to test and control a particular piece of hardware given to us by the client. For example, to produce thousands of new PC hard drives, there are bound to some manufacturing defects in the high volume manufacturing operation. To prevent defective products from reaching the marketplace, they must be detected. Our company specializes in developing the type of test and control apparatuses and fixtures used to detect defects in complex hardware such as a PC hard drive. In fulfilling his role to design, develop, and build test/control apparatuses and fixtures, our Associate Mechanical Engineer will be tasked with the following duties:
Degree and Skill-Set Requirements Based on the complexity of the aforementioned duties and responsibilities of this position, the person who fills the subject vacancy must have a Bachelor's degree, or the equivalent thereof, in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
