3070 Test Engineer

You will have full responsibility for projects requiring the development of test applications on the Agilent 3070 In-Circuit Test Equipment. Activities include CAD data translation, data entry, test development, fixture development, test debug, and documentation to provide a turnkey solution to our customers. You will work with both customers and vendors providing solutions to technical problems paying attention to details, quality, cost and on-time delivery. Strong communication and inter-personal skills are a must. You will possess a solid understanding of electronics, be a sound decision-maker in a fast paced environment, and willing to travel 10-15% of the time. Experience with PCB and/or functional testing, project management, flexibility in work hours, and knowledge of the contract manufacturing industry are strongly desired. Responsibilities: 1)Project Responsibility 2)Assist in providing realistic cost, delivery and quality commitments to the customer as per quotation 3)Develop projects to meet customer satisfaction (quality and delivery) and financial (cost and margin) targets 4)Work with vendors to resolve issues to achieve top quality products 5)Provide regular communication with supervisor on project progress 6)Other duties as assigned by supervisor Qualifications: Must have a four-year degree in Electronics Engineering or a two-year electronics degree with at least 2 years of relevant work experience. Experience writing test programs for the Agilent 3070 and installing the programs at customer sites is required. Having a good aptitude with numbers, the ability to make sound decisions in a fast paced environment and strong problem solving skills is a requirement. Experience with In-circuit testing, project management skills, good inter-personal and communication skills are a must.
