PCB Manufacturing Supervisor - Night Shift

Individual will be responsible for directing and coordinating all team activities required to meet production schedules in accordance with established quality standards. This includes responsibility for review plans and daily output, collect and analyze data from assembly operations, ICT yields and functional yields. Report data to manufacturing and quality management. Responsible for semiannual performance appraisals as well as any disciplinary actions required. Establish measurement systems for attendance, production performance, and test yields. Advance the principles and use of Tellabs systems such as JIT, TQC and DFT; plan daily and weekly production schedules within the workcenter. You will be responsible for selecting, interviewing and hiring, and supervising 1 - 3 workcenters of up to 40 workers.

Electronics experience supervising SMT (Surface Mount Technology) assembly processes is required. Day to day supervision of at least 20 people in the manufacturing of PCB's and/or electronic systems and functional test experience also needed. Individual must have excellent communication skills; strong ability to delegate assignments effectively and monitor completeness; knowledge of JIT/TQC principles; APICS certification and/or courses a plus; possess proven supervisory/leadership skills; and ability to motivate team members. Proven ability to initiate and implement process improvements important. SAP knowledge/experience a plus. Knowledge of Fuji or Siemens placement equipment helpful. DFT or JIT experience and training a plus. Knowledge of PC software (Excel, Word, Harvard Graphics, and/or Power Point preferred). Bachelor's Degree required, plus 3 years manufacturing supervisory experience.
