Micro Electronic Supplier Quality Engineer

Job Description Job Position: Micro Electronic Supplier Quality Engineer Main Job Function: This position requires sound fundamental quality knowledge and understanding for the microelectronics industry. Must be knowledgeable in all aspect of supplier evaluation and supplier development. Will work closely with all disciplines in the organization to insure that current suppliers and new suppliers are monitored and tracked for quality performance. Will be responsible for developing a comprehensive supplier quality evaluation program, working closely with our suppliers striving for zero defect products. This position will also be the liaison between internal departments and our suppliers to insure product specifications are consistent with the technology requirements and needs of the company and consistent with the technology capabilities of our supplier base. Must have a good understanding of statistical process controls, supplier audit techniques and possess good oral and written skills. Will also be required to write formal technical reports and make recommendations on supplier status. Some travel required. Education Requirements: BS in Engineering discipline with 5 to 8 years of experience, or equivalent industry experience.
