MUST have at least three years' of RECENT experience as a Test Engineer in an electronics manufacturing environment. AS Degree in Engineering required, BS Degree preferred. Any qualified and interested candidates please fax resumes to 813.814.5293 or email to recruiting@reptron.com TEST ENGINEER JOB SPECIFICATIONS The Engineer should also be familiar with the operation of electronic instrumentation such as oscilloscopes, DVMs, and signal generators. A knowledge of other equipment such as logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and complex measurement equipment may also be necessary. Knowledge of electronic manufacturing processes is strongly desired. Communication skills, technical and general, in written and oral form are required. Must be able to travel on short notice. Will travel to customer facilities and interface with them. Work hours will vary by assigned project. Thus, the position requires flexibility and self motivation in the individual. The TE is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of test equipment and new products. This requires complete knowledge of all pertinent specifications and drawings, and ensuring the completion of all required items and documentation. Create specifications when needed. Work with the customer on developing an acceptable test strategy as required. Research new components and technologies as they become available. Will be required to use various technical equipment and tools in their work. The TE will review customer supplied designs and provide design for testability recommendations in the form of written engineering reports. Implement any changes to test equipment due to ECNs. Train and direct (non supervisory) technical personnel in the use of equipment or new technologies. Provide manufacturing support assistance when needed. This includes test programming and fixture change and rework as well as the ATE maintenance and repair troubleshooting. The TE is responsible for providing ICT Development on one or more of the ATE platforms operated by Reptron. Knowledge of computer science is required. Specific knowledge in several of the following languages is required: MSVisual BASIC, GenRad 228x programming, GenRad Pilot Flying Probe programming, Teradyne Z18xx, Agilent3070, C, C++, Paradox, Object Pal, Pascal, and assembly language. Experience in GenRad 228x , HP and Teradyne.
