Mechanical Engineer

Mechanical Engineer Candidate will work in the Advanced Manufacturing Technology organization executing the development, qualification, and implementation of leading-edge manufacturing processes across a broad range of applications and support manufacturing process development activities Division wide. Includes leadership roles on programs and special projects. Bachelor�s degree or equivalent required; Master�s degree or equivalent preferred. At least 9 years of hands-on expertise in the automated manufacturing of advanced electronic assemblies for military and space applications including microelectronic assemblies (MCMs and hybrids) as well as surface mount technology (SMT), and circuit card assemblies containing area array packages (BGA, CSP and Flip Chip). Experience and proficiency in the development and qualification of automated assembly processes including epoxy dispensing, component placement (bare die and packaged devices), wirebonding, solder paste printing, and solder reflow is highly desired. Position requires expertise in the technology areas listed and a proven track record of leadership and innovation in a technology/process development environment.
