Electronic Technicians (2) If you have been searching for a beautiful place to relocate that also offers lots of activities on the weekend, this position may be your target. This client is located in New Orleans overlooking a beautiful lake that makes coming to work a great destination. You will bring 8-10 years in Electronics to the table with strong experience in soldering, troubleshooting and surface mount circuit card boards. Your example will be followed by the current, less experienced technicians. You will work in a prototype environment reviewing pilot runs of the circuit boards. Your communication skills with the Engineers will be clear and to the point. This is a very hands-on environment creating transmittal equipment being offered to utilities across the U.S. (commercial environment) Main tasks involve surface mount circuit board stuffing, soldering, and troubleshooting involving use of signal generators, oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters, network analyzers, frequency counters, and spectrum analyzers. Currently work on electric meters, and RF transmitter/receiver field racks. Bachelors, Associates or Technical School are acceptable with 8-10 years experience in electronics. This is not an Electrician position. Salary range $35,000-$45,000 with benefit package and relocation to the City of the Mardi Gra. Southern states for relocation preferred.
