Technical Support SMT Inside Atlanta, GA

Provide technical support for external and internal customers for SMT/PCBA equipment issues. Manage and implement mandatory service info bulletins, intitiate and monitor new product launch procedures, develop new vehicles for faster and better distribution of information to internal and external customers using remote diagnostics tools, web based tools, manage spare pats, etc. Most of this work is done on the telephone, but there could be up to 25% travel. This persons manages all escalted field service issues with customers and fiels service engineers. Candidate needs to extremely good communications skills, both written and verbal and be willing to work with customers empathetically.
