SMT Process Engineer

We require a fully qualified SMT Engineer to take up the challenge of moving our SMT from great to world class as part of our Process Engineering Team. Reporting to the Engineering Manager the ideal candidate will have a proven track record (5 - 10 years min) of driving improvements in a volume manufacturing environment, ideally in contract manufacturing environment, with a sound knowledge of printing including stencil design, pick & place (ideal would be MYData & Yamaha) and reflow soldering processes. As part of the process team you will be responsible for providing process support to the SMT production team and Product engineers on a day to day basis and driving continuous improvements in production yields across all products and cutomers. Past experience and the ability to demonstrate the use of DFM & 6 sigma tools would be of benefit.
