Application/ Design Engineer

Required Skills:

7 to 10 years� experience with the electrical and mechanical design and / or oversight of power converters, power supplies or related products requiring magnetic devices for functionality.

Demonstrated experience in the development of required testing and evaluation of product solutions that address electrical, mechanical, environmental, thermal, and EMI applications and performance features.

Supervisory or leadership experience with a technical team responsible for the achievement of specific objectives requiring interface with various personnel and management.

Project management experience preferred.

Education Required:

Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Metallurgical or other closely related Engineering discipline. A Master�s degree is preferred, but not required.

Familiar with and understanding of the UL requirements for electrical and electronic products. Training and experienced on various design, analytical and simulation tools.

Capable of utilizing statistical concepts in the evaluation of test results and the development of needed experiments.

Excellent verbal, written and listening communication skills.

Description of Position:

Provide support to our customers in the adaptation of new MMP technology to customized solutions.

Develop design solutions and recommendations to solve customer problems while promoting and incorporating MMP concepts.

Specify and support the evaluation of these products through testing and analysis both at M-FLEX and by the customer.

Oversee the qualification of the product support the Full Scale Development efforts for volume production.

Assist in the development and documenting of design guidelines for various market applications.
