PROCESS/MANUFACTURING ENGINEER to be responsible for the implementation of manufacturing functions and activities for the benefit of the company. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and implementation of electronic manufacturing processes. Individual will initiate and lead manufacturing process improvements. Will also be a technical interface with customers' on manufacturability issues. Must identify and improve product quality, process capability, throughput, and reliability. Understand drawings, BOM's, and Gerber data. Needs to be familiar with IPC and J-STD. A BS in Manufacturing, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or related field preferred or minimum 3+ year's of SMT assembly experience. Experience with Lead Free is desired. Previous experience in an electronic CM is a plus. Working knowledge of Lean, TOC, SPC, and 6-sigma preferred. Ideal person will be self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment. This individual should be a results oriented individual with strong technical skills. |
