Master Scheduler - Global

Master Scheduler � Global � (SouthWestern Ontario) Our client is a world leader in the mobile communications market and has a history of developing breakthrough wireless solutions. The successful candidate will lead a team of master schedules and order management specialists on the outsourcing Supply Chain team. This individual will be responsible for ensuring Monthly Supply Plans are generated and weekly Master Schedules are published to outsourcing Electronics Manufacturing Supply partners, ensuring execution to these plans, creating recommendations to manage demand to meet customer expectations, analyze forecast trends and consumption patterns for customers. This individual will support Outsourcing Management team in providing forward looking forecast to senior leadership team, and engage with their team in driving continuous improvement activities. They will oversee inventory levels at Electronics Manufacturing Supply partners and make recommendations to reduce inventory. � Experienced working knowledge of SMT electronics assembly techniques/processes operating in a high volume repetitive/assemble-to-order environment � CPIM Certification and/or APICS certification or enrolment in, is required � Minimum 5 Years previous experience with a proven track record in a MRPII/JIT environment � Experience with SAP, and Rapid Response � Knowledge of MS Office software, as well as, proficiency in the use of Excel and Access � Common business practices relating to materials management, production control, finance, logistics and procurement � Excellent problem solving and organizational skills with great attention to detail � Strong analytical and interpersonal skills � Post secondary school degree (business administration) or equivalent experience � Prior team leadership / management experience � Lean and Six Sigma experience
