Test Engineer

Detailed Job Description: Duties/Responsibilities: This position is an integral part of the Test Engineering group supporting Products including Cable Modems, xDSL Modems, Bigpicture video products, Internet Appliances, and V.90 modems. Examples of software in this role include: - Test script engine design and test function implementation. - Win/95/98/NT registry manipulation and driver install/uninstall. - PCI device configuration, ISA device Plug-N-Play isolation and configuration. - Com port (UART) communication. - Dynamic Linked Library DLL/COM components generation. - Windows 95/98/NT GUI. Other key responsibilities associated with this role are: - Develop system software for manufacturing functional tests. - Coordinate R&D for new product introduction and manufacturing release. Position Requirements: Qualifications: - Experience with Automatic Test Equipment (Hardware and Software) - Experience with Test Interface Design - Good communication skills required - Strong customer relations skills - Demonstrated ability and experience with Borland C++ or MS Visual C++ Skills/Experience: - 3-5 years experience with above development tools - Prefer candidate with 2+ years in hi-tech industry Education: - BSEE or BS Computer Science Salary is open depending on experience, salary range from 45-75
