Quality Engineer

This opportunity is with a Global industry leader in the design and manufacturing of sophisticated electronic components and devices for military and commercial markets. Our client company plays a very significant role throughout the world providing essential equipment and components to the military and commercial industries This Quality Engineer position will be located in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area. Job Description The Quality Engineer position will provide hands-on technical expertise, continual improvement and/or problem solving support through or via the Quality Department to Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering and Design Engineering in areas including but not limited to, Failure Analysis, Reliability, Process Control and general Quality Systems. Responsibilities � Ensure that all contractual and regulatory quality requirements are defined and communicated � Support all departments to ensure control of both in-process and final product quality � Interface with customers on quality issues and source inspection. � Support incoming material inspection and problem resolution with vendors � Perform supplier audits and manage supplier CARs. � Provide manufacturing engineering support including root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions to resolve problems in product manufacture. � Maintain ESD control and awareness � Provide customer and supplier interface on quality issues and problem resolution � Collaborate with sales, purchasing, production, bidding, contract management to establish quality procedures to meet customer requirements Desired Qualifications � 4 year technical degree; Electrical, Quality, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering preferred � Prefer 4-6 years experience maintaining quality standards in a manufacturing environment � Proficient in technical writing, good documentation skills; attention to detail is critical � Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings required � Demonstrated analytical expertise including ability to plan, resolve problems effectively, and establish priorities � Working knowledge of SPC, Lean Manufacturing, SPC desired � Prior experience with an ISO 9001 AS-9000 quality system is a plus For further consideration regarding this opportunity please forward your resume in MS Word format with salary history to: resume@clearconceptsusa.com Please submit all resumes in MS Word format to: resume@clearconceptsusa.com Include reference code �QE708� in the subject line of your email Candidates must be US Citizens, Green Card or Canadian Citizens with ability to obtain TN Visa No Visa Sponsorship is Available
