Job Description:

Our client has an immediate need for an SMT Process Engineer in Tulsa, OK The company is a recognized leader in the electronics manufacturing services industry. They are a proven provider of complete, solutions-oriented contract manufacturing services with capabilities that include: SMT Process Engineer Responsibilities: Conceive, develop, document, and implement manufacturing processes for PCB assembly. Creates and maintains process instructions. Creates and maintains all soldering profiles for new and existing product. Aids Production and Manufacturing Engineering in maintaining product routings, creating drawing packages and performs ongoing maintenance, interpreting instructions/specifications for the production floor. Collaborate with purchasing, production, quality, contract management, and outside vendors to set and meet schedules and accommodate other customer requirements. Conduct root cause analysis and propose corrective actions for continuous improvement and for resolutions to manufacturing problems including processes, machines, or programming problems. Coordinates process training on processes/products for Production and Support groups. Maintain awareness and expertise of industry manufacturing techniques. Requirements: 4 year technical degree BSEE, BSIE, BSME or equivalent. 4 years experience in PCB manufacturing minimum. 3 years minimum AutoCad R14 experience required Demonstrated conceptual thinking skills. Negotiation and conflict management skills. Working knowledge of quality and workmanship standardsIPC, Mil-Spec, ISO. Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and problem solving. Computer proficiencyIntermediate level in Microsoft Office Excellent written and verbal skills to interact with people at all levels and functions inside and outside. Proficient in technical writing, good documentation skills; attention to detail is critical. Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma background desired. 1. 4 year technical degree BSEE, BSIE, BSME. 2. 4 years experience in PCB manufacturing. 3. 3 years AutoCad R14 experience. 4. Working knowledge of quality and workmanship standards IPC, Mil-Spec, ISO. 5. Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma background desired.
