Test Engineer - RF

Description

Seeking a Test/Design Engineer with extensive RF, design, and deployment of test systems experience. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual who possesses the ability and desire to mentor and assist in the development of Test Technicians.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Designs and directs electrical engineering and technical personnel in fabrication of testing and test control apparatus and equipment.

Directs and coordinates electrical engineering activities concerned with development, procurement, installation, and calibration of instruments, equipment, and control devices required to test, telemeter, record, and reduce test data.

Determines conditions under which tests are to be conducted and sequences and phases of test operations.

Program and maintain ICT hardware and software.

Directs and exercises control over operational, functional, and performance phases of tests.

Confers with scientific, engineering, and technical personnel to resolve testing problems such as product or system malfunctions, incomplete test data and data interpretation.

Analyzes and interprets test data and prepares technical reports for use by electrical engineering and management personnel.

Develops or uses software and hardware to conduct tests on electrical products and systems.

Requirements

This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from four-year college or university along with 5 - 7 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Must be proficient in using Microsoft Office, UNIX, and other associated test software.

Must have experience in RF test and design background.
