Press Department Supervisor

Metal Stamping co. in Worcester is looking for a 1stshift Press Department Supervisor/Set-up. Minimum Job Requirements: - Knowledge & experience in metal manufacturing methods, to include setup of multi-stage progressive dies in automatic punch presses. - Five to eight years of directly related experience, with at least two year’s experience as a supervisor. - A minimum of 2 years supervisory experience - Experience operating punch presses and the ability to set up tools and dies - Have basic knowledge of metal stampings - The ability to read and interpret blueprints - Possess a working knowledge of precision measuring devices, (i.e. micrometers, verniers, drop indicators, etc. .) - Basic math, reading and writing skills - High school graduate or equivalent with additional college-level courses in engineering and management subjects desirable - Bilingual a plus - Required to provide a full set of related set up tools for personal use - 1st shift position - $45-$50K/yr.
