Job Description: |
-
Assists team in making checks of product according to document system procedures.
-
Assists in training production associates on basic measuring equipment, Quality sheets and In-Process-Inspection Forms
-
Performs product tests against engineering specifications.
-
Compiles records on inspections, tests and checks made.
-
Advises team leaders/team members of substandard quality and need of correction.
-
Assists as needed to bring product up to quality standards
-
Makes checks of packaging and labeling of product for accuracy
-
Makes weight checks where applicable.
-
Capable of using all conventional precision measuring instruments.
-
Reads and interprets product drawings
-
Regularly calibrates instruments and gauges with standard gauges.
-
Keeps work area clean and orderly
-
Performs other duties as assigned by team

Good work history
-
Basic computers skills (Excel, data entry) are necessary.
