SMT Field Service Engineer

Our client is a leading equipment supplier to electronic assemblers around the world.

Responsibilities:
Conduct technical analysis of product implementations, modifications and enhancements to product in accordance with specific customer specifications and implementations. Troubleshoot, test and repair technical problems and issues, determine technical solution in accordance with product and customer specifications, and recommends actions to company or customer representatives for coordinative product solution. Assesses product needs in accordance with customer specifications. Conduct technical training and product briefing with customers, vendors and company representatives. Act as local on-site representative to customer's organization.

Conduct customer audits of workflow, methods and processes to provide process and operational recommendations to achieve optimal machine yield and performance. Work with Sales Managers to meet or exceed customer expectation in service quality.

Required Education:
2+ Years with BS or AS in electronics or other technical discipline with 4+ years experience installing, servicing and troubleshooting electronic used in surface mount technology (SMT) manufacturing.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Experience in surface mount technology (SMT)/solar product maintenance

• Must have valid US driver’s license
• Up to 50% travel required
