SMT Machine Operator

 

MULTIDYNE  is seeking a qualified candidate with the ability to set up and operate a MyData pick and place SMT machine and soldering reflow oven. The candidate must:

• Show experience with SMT electronics, manufacturing and troubleshooting.

• Visually check work in process for solder defects and makes adjustments as required.

• Clean printed circuit boards and equipment as necessary.

• Comprehend and follow instructions, to understand schematics is a plus.

• Order PCBs, stencils, and parts from BOMs following Engineering documentation and Engineering Changing Orders (ECOs) 

• Work effectively and responsibly with others.

• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the working area.

• Attend meetings, communicate regularly with managers and supervisors.

• Follow all Company Safety and ESD requirements.
 

Requirements:

• Ability to work up to 10 hours a day, 5 days a week and to be flexible to work weekends when necessary.

• Good reading vision and ability to sit/stand for up to 10 hours daily.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Minimum 1 year soldering experience in equivalent industry.

• 1 year experience running Mydata pick and place equipment preferred.

• Skills as an electronic technician and experience with standards as IPC-A-610 are a plus.

• Good English skills, able to read, write and speak clearly.
