SMT Engineer

SMT Engineer, this position will require a strong hand on type of engineer. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter who possesses a professional job style, excellent organizational and communication skills, is very detail-orientated, and has the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Position Responsibilities:

• Supervise a group of maintenance technician.
• Develops and maintain TPM.
• Assures that preventive maintenance program happens.
• Coordinate maintenance corrective actions when required.
• Develops programs for new products
• Design strategies to improve OEE
• Develops FMEA´s

Qualifications:

• A Bachelors or greater degree in Engineering.
• Two plus years of experience in the area.
• Strong experience in wave/selective solder.
• SMT technology (wave and selective solder)
• SMT machine programing (fuji, siemens)
• NXT machine experience
• Process and product variables control.
• ISO/TS 16949
• Lean manufacturing
• ISO 14001
• Analysis and problem solving-8D
• ESD/IPC-610
• Estandar GP
• Document control process.
• Nonconforming product management.
• The ability to communicate technical information and concepts orally and in written form.
• Project to execution time line management.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel Outlook and Access, highly preferred.
• Flexibility in a frequently shifting/growing, multitasking environment.
• Some business travel may be required.
