Business Development Director

My client company is an EMS provider located in the Pacific Northwest and they have an urgent need for a Business Development Director in Southern California. This twenty five year old company is a full service supplier of PCBAs, cables, harnesses, and complete system box builds to customers in various markets including the medical, military, defense, test & measurement, and industrial. This EMS provider has recently moved into a new facility and has the capacity available for extensive growth and plan to double their revenue in the next 3 to 5 years! Their excellent working environment offers a real “pride of ownership” in the company which has resulted in many long tenured employees who have been able to expand their careers and experience.

In the position of Business Development Director, you will be responsible to implement a strategic sales plan to identify and penetrate potential OEM accounts by utilizing your “hunting” sales abilities. The individual in this high visibility position will establish a regional sales strategy and be a key contributor to the company’s growth in customer base and revenue within Southern California!

The candidate for the position of Business Development Director will meet these minimum background qualifications:

*5+ years experience selling Electronics Manufacturing Services in Southern California.
*Proven success as a “hunter” with increasing customer base and revenue.
*Customer contacts to be able to hit the ground running.
*Solid technical understanding of full electronics system assemblies.
*Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
