Manufacturing Engineer

Job Responsibilities: Provide engineering support for all aspects of manufacturing printed circuit assemblies. Determine tooling needs and have in place prior to Pronto run (wavesolder pallets, press fit connectors etc.). Develop work instructions and perform documentation reviews. Create routers (production steps) per product type. Work with customer and internal Engineering teams on DFM issues. Produce Proto Yield Reports. Customer interface on proto quality issues, both verbal and written. Skills: New graduate of Engineering (4 yr degree) or 2 year Mechanical Degree or equivalent Military training and 4-6 years of progressively responsible experience as an Engineering Technician. Strong written communication skills, especially in the area of spec writing. Intermediate skill in programming manufacturing equipment.
