Test Engineer - Electronics (Tallahassee, Florida)

Provides Test Engineering support to the Test and Sales departments; develops test programs/hardware/documentation for new and existing products.  Responsible for providing setup, technical support, debug, training, and technical supervision to all shifts for ICT (Genrad), Flying Probe (Condor), Burn-In and Functional (customer-provided) electronic tests.  Optimize test process and schedules through training, documentation and coverage reporting.  Identify and resolve recurring problems through root cause analysis and assist analysis team in correcting low yields.  Provide quotations for new product test and interface with customers during implementation.  Assist in maintaining existing Test Engineering platforms, to include maintenance and spare parts.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BSEE, BSET, etc.) from a four year college or university is required, and an Engineering degree in Electronics is preferred.  A working knowledge of modern electronic manufacturing processes and testing of electronic assemblies is required.  Must have clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal and have strong computer skills, particularly MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.  Must have experience with MRP/ERP systems and be able to process and analyze data from the electronic manufacturing equipment operations portion of the ERP system.  Visual Basic, HTML, LabVIEW, Teradyne D2B software knowledge preferred.  Must hold a high level of integrity and dependability and have a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
