SMT/Process Engineer

Teligent EMS is an Electronic Contract Manufacturer located in Tallahassee, FL.  The SMT/Process Engineer supports operations through analysis of processes, procedures, controls and operational data.  This person will identify, analyze and implement work simplications, methods and procedure improvements necessary to support manufacturing, engineering and quality functions in conjunction with functional management, productivity, workflow, control and system improvements.  The process engineer is responsible for designing and implementing manufacturing processes, equipment, and plans (from pilot to fully operational).

Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a four year college or university is required, and 5-8 years experience in Electronic manufacturing, specifically Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and Through Hole Technology (THT).  Must have proven experience with all of the following:  SMT and THT manufacturing equipment, programming, maintenance and repair of Siemens Siplace SMT equipment S20's, S25's, S27's, F4's and F5's, DX, temperature profiles, wave solder process and process control.  Experience in design and implementaton of process, productivity and equipment improvements is essential.
