Field Service Engineer

Mycronic, Inc. is a leading supplier of manufacturing equipment for the surface mount electronics industry with North American headquarters in Rowley, MA.  We are currently seeking candidates for a position as Field Service Engineer based in the New England area.  This full time position will require significant travel within the US (predominantly the East Coast) and some international travel. 
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Repair & maintenance of equipment at customer facilities, installation and calibration of equipment, customer training, services sales, upgrading hardware and software systems in the field, and maintenance of Mycronic internal databases.
Requirements:
• AA/AS degree (electrical) or equivalent.
• 3+ years of mechanical/electrical field service experience
• Strong customer relationship skills
• Strong services sales understanding
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Strong mechanical, electrical and computer competency
• Training or certification in computers and MS Windows environments
• Training or certification in mechanical assembly and basic maintenance
• Experience with surface mount, electronics, PLC, robotics experience is beneficial
• Valid US driver’s license and Passport or the ability to obtain
• Reliable transportation
