Job Description: |
Overview
Provides manufacturing process support to the organization. Position reports to the Director of Manufacturing Engineering.
Responsibilities
• Develop, implement and streamline manufacturing processes, equipment, and procedures
• Assist with continuous improvement 6-Sigma activities
• Assist in plant layout changes to improve flow and minimize waste
• Apply knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the mechanical engineering/design field
• Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Certain degree of creativity and latitude is required
• May provide information to others and appropriately shares information and knowledge to achieve desired goals
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
• Bachelor's of Science degree in Engineering or technically related field
• Minimum of 4 years related engineering experience
