Job Description:

Perform all tasks associated with the operation of SMT machines.
-
Perform feeder set-up if required; make reel/tray/feeder changes based on stock availability/use
-
Load programs; perform program set-up on machines
-
Establish priorities and proceed with objectives in order to adhere to the production schedule accordingly, with direction from the Production Supervisor

Troubleshoot and resolve problems occurring during the operation of the SMT machine, with direction from the Process Engineer, Production Supervisor and/or Maintenance as required

Identify areas for improvement and implement modifications to existing processes while consulting with the Process Engineer

Perform all SMT support tasks.

Set-up stencils and printers; perform board pasting

Execute scheduled preventive maintenance to maintain optimal equipment performance

Adhere to IPC J-Standards by Class indicated on job
