MANUFACTURING ENGINEER, SMT ELECTRONICS -- $45,000 to $55,000 + O.T. Company: Well established and very profitable division of a Fortune 500 Company that is manufacturing a wide variety of automotive aftermarket products. They have seen steady growth over the years, with more recent expansion in the Global marketplace and have attained QS-9000 registration. The company has a strong reputation as a leader in the industry as well as being a good place to work. They have a focused business plan that includes several new ventures, and a very straightforward management team that strives to keep politics out of their environment. Position: Project level responsibilities for supporting and designing advanced electronic assembly manufacturing cells. This includes capital equipment justification, procurement and installation, vendor interface, hands-on process troubleshooting, and providing direction for technical personnel. Qualifications: Requires a working knowledge of solder paste, solder printing, surface mount assembly, laser trim, reflow processes and placement equipment. Requires an appropriate degree and previous experience in surface mount electronics assembly processes. Also requires effective communication and project management skills. Community: City of 50,000 located approximately one hour from Metro Milwaukee that is known for its blend of industry, education and recreation, as well as low crime rates and a lower cost of living area.
